HexArmor AG8TW Needle-Resistant Arm Guard

A search glove protects the hand. The forearm is still exposed when you reach into a seat gap, a backpack or under a mattress during a cell search. The HexArmor AG8TW is an 8-inch arm guard that covers that gap: SuperFabric® material rated ANSI/ISEA cut level A8 with needlestick level 2 resistance.

It's a sleeve, not a cuff, so it stays put. HexArmor built it with a thumb hole and a spandex blend so it won't slide down the way knit sleeves do, and it runs lighter and cooler than leather. Wear it under a jacket sleeve on patrol, or over a base layer for booking, corrections and evidence work.

Where it fits on shift

• Vehicle and property searches
• Cell and dorm searches in corrections
• Booking, evidence handling and sharps disposal
• Pairs with the HexArmor 4045 search glove
